<p>@ everyone: I applied to Duke, too. I’m pretty much dying right now… I know I’m going to get rejected and I just can’t handle it right now! GAH!
I get my Williams decision TOMORROW (Williams is my first choice after Yale).
This… is not going to be a good weekend.</p>
<p>On the bright side, it’s my dad’s birthday too! Wooo for my dad!</p>

<p>aww, ChandlerBing, it seems like all of your posts mention how you haven’t gotten a likely letter, haven’t been looking forward to decisions, etc… and how you are so sure you’re gonna get rejected everywhere. Come on, now! </p>
<p>To be honest, when I have seen those posts from you in the past (on the Dartmouth, Williams, Harvard threads, i think) I have related to them because I feel the same way about my situation sometimes. But you’ve gotta have a little bit of hope!</p>
<p>Yeah, Duke decisions come out at 6 PM TONIGHT.
Or, in other words, IN 3 HOURS!!!
Yeah I’m legitly flipping you-know-what right now… yeah sorry to flip out about Duke on the Yale thread but, you know, it’s all good.
This has devolved from a Yale thread into pretty much a life thread, haha.

<p>^ Yeah, haha, I probably say it too much but I find it easier to not hope for anything and then if I get rejected, be able to not be blindsided.
But I of course have a little hope! Right now I just want to know.
Another issue I have with Duke is that the two girls in my class who are better than me applied to Duke as well. Meaning I’m pretty much DONE. Haha.

<p>Well, considering that I didn’t apply to Northwestern or Berkeley but did apply to Duke, I won’t easily forget Duke until after I know my decision.

<p>I’m as clueless about you though i’m guessing evening cuz last year ed was in the morning so was this year. Rd was in the evening last year so i guess it should be evening too. And since they release decisions usually around chicago and duke etc…today evening :)</p>
<p>I think I should rethink my whole strategy of spending my whole day somewhere else than home. At least during decision time.
While I got yelled at by my equestrian instructor for not being able to differ between right and left hand I got a call from the US. Luckily my mom wasn’t home to answer the phone(her english isn’t the best) so I had a nice message on the answering machine. I got accepted by Grinnell College. 
I feel so much better now, because today was a day that I was sure to be rejected everywhere and basically felt like a big failure.</p>

<p>My dad has trouble with this… my mom drove me to my Yale interview and my dad wrote down directions. It said “turn right on so and so street to arrive at the office building”
My mom and I simultaneously said “It’s definitely left”
So we turned left, and lo and behold, there it was
Can you IMAGINE if we turned right like my dad said and ended up missing the interview?</p>
