The Magical ( and somewhat Official) Yale RD Countdown Thread

just got into georgetown but my heart is incomplete without you, oh handsome dan!

^ Congrats!

Also: I am make **** bricks!

@chandlerbing: I cannot stand school either! It’s like a sickness… and makes me want to do nothing… which will probably get me a D and have the college rescind me :P

ChandlerBing - next time give me a call i’ll take you to the best meat restaurant in Israel but be warned, they’re a bit expensive but worth it.
actually i have 2 of the best meat restaurants in my area so i could take you to both.
oh and the best tahini and hummus and shawarma and falafel. (although the best falafel I ever had was in Jerusalem, some obscure little place that i don’t really remember except it was SO good!!!)

sev (yeah i was five minutes late haha)

HAH I love the fact that our discussion turned into a discussion about FOOD.

speaking of which – I LOVE Greek and general Mediterranean food. Baklava is the greatest thing ever since the invention of the wheel.

poutine
'nuff said

@Izzy: YES OMG! The best (and only Israeli falafel I’ve ever had) was in Jerusalem, in this obscure little place that had the MOST AMAZING view of all of Jerusalem. It was simply breathtaking.

The only place in Israel I didn’t like was Tverya (Tiberias). It was… kind of dinky, except this one restaurant we went to had these mountainous salads and “bagels” (Israel doesn’t have real bagels, haha) with this olive paste inside.
Israeli food is some of the best I’ve ever had, we went to this random Walmart/BJ’s-esque store in Rehovot and though the quality of the shop wasn’t top-notch, there were samples of hummus and tchina all over the place and all of it tasted so good.
Good times, good times.

No joke. Montreal poutine is second to none.

Hummus and falafel are great though. Especially those of the non-fast-food variety. :)

hey serendipity, have you ever been to belle pro?
fries there are so good, but so greasy they give you a stomach ache

If you falafel lovers are lucky enough to get into Yale, remember “Mamoun’s” - tahini from
Mecca!

Foods I love.

i think i’ll go have an omelette for dinner

Alas, I cannot have half of your foods, as they are either flesh, or prepared/served in close proximity to flesh.

I think lunch is the best
You release stress on a burger, fries, or some fried rice!!

Less than 24 hrs!

Is anyone else weirdly calm?

i am eyeing some wine right now
