The Masters

All I can say is, Tiger Woods, wow! You did it, you turned back the clock. What drama in those final 3 or 4 holes.

And that pure joy on his face.

Great comeback.

All I can say is, I never thought I’d see the day when Tiger Woods would win The Masters again! It was so exciting to watch. I love that his kids and his Mom were able to be there in person, and witness him rise like a Phoenix from the ashes of what had looked to be utter destruction. I hope this is just the beginning of a long and storied second chapter in the history of one of the greatest golfers who’s ever played the game.

It was a great comeback for a player who had to battle a lot -physically and personally-to get to this point. I will give him that.

What disappoints me is that the laser focus on Tiger seems to leave very little room for the accolades due several extremely talented players whose stellar accomplishments were all but ignored today.

I am fortunate to be able to go to the Masters every year, and I wish that the accomplishments of the many could be celebrated. It is a difficult course and doing well at Augusta is a feat that deserves praise …not just for the famous guy who won. Schauffele, Johnson, Koepke all played amazingly well & that might have been more prominently noted had someone like them won rather than Tiger.

There will be monster ratings for the Masters and only one person can drive that. Tiger.

Every single other golfer is happy for Tiger because he makes them more money. They are flying home in their private planes thanking Tiger. The money made on tour is because of one person drove up the ratings and expanded the purses.

Sorry but Brooks Keopka is not infusing enthusiasm into golf.

The power of never, never, never giving up.

Very exciting. I haven’t watched golf for a while but used to watch quite a bit in the days when Tiger, Fred Couples, etc. were big.

It was so sad to see him waste away his life and talent. This should give him a boost of confidence. Fingers crossed that he has turned his life around.

Sports are the best for stories of a comeback and redemption…
Tiger will be on the front page of every newspaper tomorrow, for a good reason, not a sleazy one…
Tiger’s pride (pun intended) that his kids get to see him win a major tournament…
Tiger finally got his priorities straight and his mom was there through thick and thin…
