The Meaning of Form B on Collegeboard Website

<p>On the collegeboard website, when doing some AP sample questions I noticed that for each year there was a Form A and a Form B. What exactly does this mean? For a given subject, are there two different tests being taken at once?</p>

Because of the worldwide growth of the AP Program and the administration of exams in multiple time zones, another version of the AP Chemistry Exam, called “Form B,” may be administered in order to maintain security.

<p>Okay I get it. So the two forms are from the same subject, same date, but someone taking it halfway around the world would have an alternate form.</p>
