–This is mostly my profile, I think I might be forgetting something but this is the core of it, please provide me with your opinion. I am a 16 yr old male/Indian!…if that makes a difference…

You have good stats and decent ECs. I think that with a good essay and recs, you have a fair shot at H.
I have a question, though - why did you take Calc AB then Calc BC the next year? It’s basically the same information, only on different difficulty levels.

Thats the way our school does it. Since I took AB junior year, what would I take senior year? I already took Stats so there aer no other math classes to take for me next year other than BC. We are required to take a math so everyone just takes BC, and we are not allowed to double up junior year on calc so yea.

Ouch, so they make you take AB? That’s pretty stupid, no offense.

lol yea it is, but there is a lot wrong w. this schol

our school doesn’t even offer BC so i was stuck taking AB my sophomore year. Some schools are just stupid

you didn’t take trig?

people are asking the most random questions…

uhh i think you have great chances at harvard and honestly you’ll probably get in.

AP Science Research, what?

Impressive as your stats are the last part about being Asian Indian
implies you will be limited to a 3% admit rate from your state?

Class rank and whether you are nominated for presidential scholar by
your school will figure in heavily despite the 2400.

Rarely does a 2400 not at least become nominated for Presidential Scholar.

MIT 012: Harvard denies the use of racial quotas.

anyway, I think you have an excellent shot. Your scorces, courseload, EC’s, and awards are all pretty impressive.

this is a fake chance thread…

good bye.

yes this seems…fishy

I think AP Science Research gave it away… How did only one person notice that? I just can’t believe that someone took the time to write all of that out…

*AP Science Research
*
rofl

There is another explanantion; quite a few schools designate subjects
as “AP” for GPA computation weight reasons (though CB has a problem
with the official monker AP):

AP Experimental Research could simply mean
Independent Research weighed in at AP weight
rather than CP/Honors.

So ProjectHarvard do post which one of us was right, were you
■■■■■■■■ or was it a genuine request…seemed genuine to me

If my various Google-ing efforts haven’t been misdirected, ProjectHarvard is both genuine and a ■■■■■ at the same time. :stuck_out_tongue: As far as I can tell, everything verifiable checks out, excepting that ProjectHarvard has already completed high school and is enrolling in Harvard this fall.

As a side note, yeah, I wasn’t insinuating ■■■■■-dom with my “AP Science Research” comment. I was just commenting on it for reasons MIT 012 stated - namely that even if a course is judged at the “AP” level, it shouldn’t carry the “AP” moniker all willy-nilly.

wow who takes 10 courses in freshman year? french and french culture? ROFL

i didn’t even know classes liek science research and sat prep existed…wow.
and u skipped trig? lol

Either way, this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a ■■■■■, but still, the profile is hilarious…

You can skip trig at my school, most kids do. You take Pre-calc instead.
