The most impressive CEO?

I find Lloyd Blankfein to be a “monster” in the business world.

Any other takes? Blankfein seems to be the ideal “rags-to-riches” CEO to me.

My second favorite is the Zuck. Check him out on Mark Zuckerberg . The minimum number of letters required for your personal facebook ID (the word behind facebook.com) is 5, but his is the only exception.

He seems to be an ideal CC applicant. Other than that, his marketing strategy is quite impressive.

Don’t know if all of this is true, but it so, it’s impressive:

Dad of 3, that is way more impressive to me than someone’s climb from rags to riches.

If this Wiki article is correct, then what this guy did is also impressive:

The question of who is the most impressive CEO is not even a close call for me. Obviously, it is Steve Jobs. He took a company that was left for dead after Microsoft used its illegal monopoly power to destroy Apple and then resurrected the company. Apple is now neck and neck with Exxon to have the largest market capitalization in America. Jobs is truly amazing.

As to Zuckerberg, the guy is a creep and a thief. I fail to see how anyone could consider him impressive. It’s like saying a mafia leader is impressive. Facebook is stolen property. People should not be able to get rich in American through theft.

Lutnick has my vote. If more moral and ethical people were in charge of U.S. companies (and the government … but I digress), it would be a really positive change.

And Tata is also a true role model.

past-Ben and Jerry

Hahaha, oh well.

Jobs is amazing.

I also vote for Lutnick! Would like him to be our next president or speaker of the house or senate. We need more folks like him to turn our country around!

Do we have any CEOs among parents?

You mean among us CC parents? In the non-profit world, especially in smaller orgs, we often don’t have CEOs. I know there is none in our org, just me, an executive director and my on-call staff and volunteers.

I meant whether we have any CEO parents who post regularly on CC.

I doubt they would have the time!!

Not even small business owners?

Good point. I was thinking of the big honchos.

Steve Jobs. By a mile. Blankfein is just another Wall Street thief. They use market controls, insider info, and manipulation to screw over people/countries. Jobs has to actually invent things people will want and then outdo every other firm trying to do the same–many with more $$$$ until now.

Jim Sinegal - Costco
Hardworking, humble and treats the employees like gold, I can’t say enough about how he has treated those in the company like family while running without dispute one of the most successful operations in retail.

You’ve probably heard this.

This gave me an inspiration to start this thread, as a matter of fact.

Steve Jobs…he’s amazing.
