<li>Maintain top grades and graduate with honors.</li>
<li>Contribute work to my department’s history journal. </li>
<li>Join the Theta-Pi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta (honors history association).</li>
<li>Develop working relationships with professors and learn more about their research, past and present.</li>
<li>Present work at student conferences. </li>
<li>Get into a top doctoral program in my particular field.</li>

<p>$8k a month is usually oil companies. That’s a ton of money but not unheard of in engineering for a internship. 2500-3000/month is much more common.</p>
