You know that professional costume artists are able to construct costumes that play up the positive and diminish the negative. They do it all the time. (Way back when, Miss Texas won the Miss USA pageant three years in a row and it was primarily attributed to some person who was able to construct a custom swim suit [one piece back then] and gown that made each girl’s figure look perfect.) They COULD be making Kate look better…but they aren’t!

I will share a guilty secret: I’d love for Kate to survive until next week because Tom said something about there being a swing dance “marathon.” I’d just love to see the expressions on the face of low energy Kate during a marathon of any kind.

I wonder how Kate comes off to the other contestants. Evan mentioned that they are “all like a big family.” I found it hard to picture Kate playing into that mentality.

I don’t have strong feelings about Kate one way or the other, but I hope she gets voted off for Tony’s sake. How much more can that poor guy take?

As an aside, I noticed one of the male singers on the show was one of Michael Jackson’s longtime backup singers. Saw him in “This is It” and also the “Dangerous Tour” of 1994.

That is actually a polka - closer to the quick step than the waltz. I’ve done lots of polka and I would not want to be in the same room with her doing it. It would be dangerous.

Yes, a polka! Now that is a fun dance. A quick step is OK but I like the polka better. Kate should do a polka. It has been awhile since I have seen the movie.

^^^ I actually think her attitude, lack of humor and lack of effort shown in the rehearsal clip was worse to watch than her dancing. I think it’s an insult to the audience that she’s doing this with zero effort and full of complaints.

Some one PLEASE, PLEASE post who gets kicked off tonight. I don’t think I can wait until the morning entertainment news sites update to find out Kate goes home to stay. I hope, I hope, for her sake.

^^^I think this may be one of those situations where her “fans” keep her there, even knowing she doesn’t deserve to be there. And you know the show wants her there, because they believe she draws viewers in. Of course, anything could happen.
