<p>silonthesofa: my schedule only had two AP’s; english lang and U.S. history (got an A in each). I was disappointed with an A in physics since the teacher def screwed up my grade for the final marking period. I think i got a 0 for something when i handed it in late -_-. And my hardest course was actually pre-calc honors since the teacher is notoriously known as the hardest in the school, but i pulled off an A-. Ok it sounds like im bragging (which im not), but ill stop. I just get really proud of myself sometimes. I should really just stop talking.</p>

<p>i’m probably not ranked all too high, well was ranked, back when i was in school. my unweighted gpa was 2.14 but since i took all APs junior and senior year it bumped it up to 3.14 (i like the coincidence with the first 3 digits of pi

i’m sure my dislike for being here is a result of having essentially grown up outside of the states, but still with american culture in me. the music i listen to, the movies and shows i watch, all my friends were pretty much american or canadian, and i always went to american schools. but I see you’re going to USC next year so i imagine you’re LA born and raised? where in LA? I spent from June 09 till last september in LA on my own. I absolutely loved it. Finally felt at home. so as someone who’s spent significant time in both places, I can tell you, staying in the UK for any more than a month is really only for the british, because only they can stand their own kind and ways.</p>

<p>My school’s ranking is not very legit. You could ask anyone who goes there and is in AP, whether they are ranked high or not.</p>

<p>My school ranks via gpa. I have a 4.0/4.0 UW, 4.7~~/4.0 W. I’m top, along with four other people, although I’m the only student who hasn’t gotten a B in any class for a marking period.</p>

<p>Our ranking system is kind of unfair. Especially in 9th grade, there are teachers who give out 98+ with minimal work and there are teachers who give low-mid 90s with tons of work (of course, I had to get the harder classes). Engineering courses all receive AP weight even though they are much easier than AP courses. We don’t get our ranks until the October of our senior year, but I’m hoping for top 13 (there is a special recognition for top 13 students).</p>
<p>My school only ranks for the purpose of finding Val/sal. Can you believe I was a little disappointed when I found out I was #2?! God, what a d bag. I’m working on it, promise.</p>
<p>Edit: I agree with jalmoreno. Leave trevor alone for now; let’s let him do what he has to do. Desperation isn’t too attractive.</p>
