The Official Berkeley Class of 2012 Thread

I’m not going to the OHP thing…but I am going to Cal Day! I’m excited  MCB major for me, already submitted my SIR a while ago, and registered for CalSO at the end of June, YAY!

Mm, Rane, you should make one now to add all your high school friends hehe… it’s also a nice alternative to emails…

Yeah, I think I’ll make one after AP exams are over, because they can get quite addictive from what I hear.

I can’t check, so can somebody tell me how many people are in the Berkeley Class of 2012 Facebook group right now?

So far? 1,091 people :)

WOW.

That’s like 1/4 of the entering class!

As of now, there doesn’t seem to be much Class of 2012 activity on this board, but I guess they’re all on Facebook, heh.

Facebook is not nearly as addictive as internet forums such as this one

agreed ^ i actually find myspace more addictive

Hmm… I don’t think everybody in that group is actually going to attend Berkeley.

haha, damn right.

Well, yeah, some are still deciding (But then of course, after joining they’ll be brainwashed to go because there’s no reason not to…lol)

Facebook/myspace aren’t ‘addictive.’ It really depends on how YOU manage your time and stuff…

Hope this isn’t gravedigging, but I guess I’ve finally decided on Cal. Just submitted my SIR and registered for CalSO. Howdy dooo.

Wooohooo! Now you can try to find me in the fb group
Which school(s) did you turn down?

Cornell, Ann Arbor, UCLA, UCSD Bioengineering

Duke was my top choice but w/e.

And, uh, I don’t have a facebook >_> I get distracted easily enough with AIM. Btw, does no one use AIM anymore o.o

Yay, I submitted my SIR yesterday and signed up for CalSO too!

I turned down UCLA, USC, UCSD, and UCI.

GO BEARS!

No, AIM has been the same for the past umpteen years.

Cal 2012 here! I received a scholarship on Friday and so I sent in my SIR then.

Republican studying Political Science at Cal, it should be fun. :D

Good choice, good choice. I guess everyone here is already asking questions and stuff on the facebook group…deeaaad thread!
