I know for certain my UC GPA, but I’m actually a little bit confused about calculating weighted/unweighted GPA since my school has a wacky equation to do so. Is unweighted simply 4 for an A, 3 for a B, etc. averaged by number of semesters, and is weighted the same with +1 for honors/AP? Please correct me wrong, but here are my stats according to these rules:

UC GPA: 4.36
UW GPA: 3.77
W GPA: 4.77 (This looks like a huge disparity, but it’s because all 22 semesters of my soph + jr. year were honors/AP, as shown below)

Sophomore year:
AP Comp Sci A: B/A
Honors English II: A/A
Honors Chemistry: A/A
Honors Pre-Calculus: A/B
AP European History: B/A
Honors Spanish III: A/A

Junior Year:
AP Biology: A/A
AP Spanish Language: A/A
Honors English III: A/A
AP Calculus AB: A/A
AP US History: B/B (yikes!)
Research I/II: A/A (this course is not recognized by UC unfortunately, so I did not factor it into any of my GPAs)

Senior Schedule:
AP English Literature & Composition
AP Art History
Biotechnology / Latin American Short Story (each 1 sem.)
AP Calculus C
AP Physics C
Honors Differential Equations (1 sem.)

SAT: 2260 (710 CR; 750 M; 800 W)

SAT II: 780 Spanish; 780 Math IIC; 760 Chemistry

I am an in-state student (thank god…) applying to College of Engineering (most likely Biomedical).

Extracurriculars: JV + Varsity Vball (2 years each), NHS (aka tons of community service [100+ hrs]) (3 years), Co-Founder + VP of Biology Club (2 years), Bollywood Dance (lead in well-recognized troupe) (8 years), Spanish NHS Webmaster and Selected Tutor (3 years), Viola player for Fremont Youth Symphony (4 years), Global Empowerment + Outreach Club Public Relations Officer + Treasurer (4 years), ASB Secretary (1 year [12th])

SORRY FOR THE LAUNDRY LIST.

Awards: USA Biology Olympiad Semi-Finalist, Regional Science Bowl Semi-Finalist, AP Scholar with Distinction (straight 5s except 3 on Comp Sci A)

So what are my chances at Berkeley, LA, and San Diego? Would Irvine and Davis be good safeties?
