Internship at local engineering company over summer, designed some parts for them with CAD
Worked at a hot dog stand throughout HS, around 100 hours total

Significant improvement in GPA from sophomore year to 1st semester junior year to 2nd semester junior year

biochemistry or molecular/cell biology major, pre med route. Planning on applying to all the UC’s except for Merced and I am out of state. Thoughts on chances of admission?

3.96 unweighted (with a B+ in Physics sophomore year and a B- in Pure Math sophomore year)
5.0 GPA weighted (I think…I am in the Cambridge IGCSE program and I was not sure how to weight that. I am also not sure about the difference between a weighted GPA and the UC GPA since from what I read, the UC GPA just seems like a weighted GPA although, again, I am not sure how Cambridge IGCSE A/AS Level counts)

My grades in sophomore year could have been worse, except everyone in my school was given As for the final semester since COVID and online learning happened. Will that affect anything?
