The Official Engineers vs Anthropologists thread

uhmm…so whats the score?

Anthropologists: 60
Engineers: 3.5

Engineering > Anthropology

include <iostream></iostream>

using namespace std;
int main()
{
bool valid;
int anthropology, engineering;
bool *point = &valid;
if(anthropology>engineering)
valid=true;
cout<<“idiot…”;
else
cout<<“good choice”;
}

^^^ the ■■■…u okay?

^ no he is an engineering major. ( a cool one tho) lol :)

haha so on generalities jane, would you say that engineers are ugly? i remember this coming up on the late night thread.

lol it was just cuz one of your brethren said he was gonna look like Andy Kauffman as he aged.

So, it’s basically “Applied hard science vs. Soft science” (summarized with no derogatory implication intended towards either major). It seems rather apples vs. oranges.

team anthro

where would econ go in the applied science vs. soft science category?

:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

now lets talk contributions to the advancement of mankind. chemical engineers designed heinekin’s brewing facilities. enuff said.

@ SF… I ran your code but it won’t even compile let alone run… Jk!! that was an example of the C++ at its finest…

funny thing is…that will either spit out a true or false depending on what your IDE assigns for garbage on the int variables. hahah

you don’t see that everyday (reference to 4 different posts in the span of 1 min)

I’m pretty sure chemical engineers will soon develop the cure for a hangover too… again an example of science at its finest hahah

to clarify…to all math majors, physics majors, chemistry majors, and comp sci majors, you fall under our team.

xelink: Econ is a soft science since at its root it deals with human behavior. It’s difficult to prove any economic theory quantitatively true or false and thus predictions can’t be positively made. That’s not to belittle Econ in any way. It is still very much a science, and so is Anthropology.

let’s be honest, anthropology is worthless, no offense, Engineering FTW
