From each school you were accepted to. I just received a packet from UCSD in the mail today and I declined their offer of admission

I am not taking two important classes this quarter but I listed in my application. I’ve just submitted the report of academic changes and said I would take them in summer instead. Will I be rescind because of this? Does anyone have a similar situation? Is there something I can do other than just waiting? I am really worried!

Sweet. Only if UCSD had the prestigious of UCLA, going to school in La Jolla sounds quite enticing.

I thought about applying to Pepperdine and LMU, but LMU you can only bring in 60 units with you, and I was around 67. I was like no sir, and Pepperdine, on beautiful PCH, have Malibu Seafood or drive up a bit and go to Neptunes. But Pepperdine, I was shocked to see it wasn’t ranked high at all.

Just waiting to hear from USC(I already accepted UCLA and all) but if USC accepts me, I will proudly reject them, :-)

@Tik1127

What @ocnative said.

I don’t know why I still didn’t have ucla email and mail…Need I SIR ucla first?

@onehandedred

I knew they wouldn’t make a big deal out of it.

i got the call today from UCLA. I was expecting an actual staff member to call but it was a 1st year student asking survey questions. I got into UCB, so if it comes down to those two I will decline UCLA, even though the weather is so nice over there

They called while I was doing my SIR. Now I’m hunting for research positions for the summer at UCLA

Also, people know who I am on the UCLA transfer group :-S How am i gonna ■■■■■■■■ now?

@vvvccc123 I think you have to SIR first.

I’m leaning towards UCLA. I’m going to wait until the end of this week to SIR and hopefully all my issues are sorted out by then. UCB has courses listed on my admissions contract that aren’t on my myBerkeleyApp or my UC Application which is also stressful.

Got UCLA and Ucsd packets today, UCLA one is thick and fancy

No packet here yet but I live in Northern California so maybe that’s why! Do you guys know if it comes via USPS?

Wow, I just got UCLA’s admit packet today. It is super fancy and it is even scented!

@Sonic23 Is UCSD’s packet nice?

@Zalrons were in Bay Area. Got the little student orientation brochure today but nothing else.

We never got the UCSC mailing even though they accepted her in March. Anyone else get it?

And still only got one lousy letter from UCSB, lol

@collegedropout1 I thought the UCSD package was very nice- just saw it in my mailbox.

@CollegeDropout1 It looks pretty, however it’s mostly a giant invitation card for Trinton Transfer Day. It was surprisingly kind of bare on useful information. It contained a general congratulation letter, a certificate of admission, a paper cutout of King Triton, a small poster sized paper with general information.

@Zalrons I live in Northern California, and yes I got it from USPS.

I still can’t decide yet. Not being admitted to UCB I thought my decision would be easier, but still can’t decide. Anyone got accepted to comp sci at UCLA and UCSD, have you guys made a decision?

@lamelcriada my daughter got the call two days ago but it went to voicemail. She said she would call back. She sounded like she was a student and her asian accent was so thick, I don’t know how they can really get through any questions easily. Since it was just a survey, I’ll tell my daughter.

@CooCooCaChoo25 Thanks!

Delete

My call with UCLA lasted for one minute. Lol. It was weird because I already submitted my SIR days ago.

@lindyk, oh ok! And you live in San Mateo right? Pretty much my entire family lives there haha. And with her 4.0 she can certainly apply for the alumni scholarship if she wants. Did she set up her UCLA email?

@jonjon, well, you can’t go wrong with UCLA or UCSD! Of course I think you should join us in LA though :D

@collegedropout, UCSD packet thing was nice. I was impressed. No 3d map I don’t think. A little 3d triton mascot thing you can make.
