Can anyone on here see this post. I think I got banned.

I can see it @CollegeDropout1

Why do you think u were banned?

@2016Candles I had a disagreement with another user, and I think he reported my other post, so they got deleted, but It looks like my account survived.

You would know if you got banned… you’ll just end up getting a blank page when you try to come to CC.

@k4201505

Were you banned before?

Maybe… maybe not…

Sigh. I don’t think I am going to be able to attend UCLA

@CollegeDropout1

You’re going to UCSD now?

Why not, @CollegeDropout1?

@ocnative @Cayton I was planning a majoring in geology. The problem is that I don’t have the chemistry or physics courses required by the major. I was planning on taking them at Santa Monica College, but UCLA doesn’t allow concurrent enrollment unless you ask for permission first. All top of all that, is that the rarely accept concurrent enrollment petitions, so I would be there for like three years. I might even go over the unit limit.

Yikes. Best of luck with your future plans and wherever you decide to transfer to(UCSD?), @CollegeDropout1.

I WANT TO GO TO UCLA! WAHHH I’m going to hang myself, hahah JK.

Im paranoid my transcripts wont be sent on time. I submitted my trancript/ IGETC form on june 3 w/ a request to wait for my final grades and IGETC certification. And today i asked and heard it takes 15 business days for them to even process IGETC. Than they send it.

Im thinking backup plan send emergency fina transcript if they dont send it by july 10. Is that dumb??

Also i was confused because my school makes you fill out and pay for a trascript request for IGETC to be processed, and im not sure if i had to make a seperete transcript request to actually have my final grades sent in.

My admissio office sucks so much

@sonic23, Just call the UC, they will be understanding. They realize different schools have different spring end dates. I read somewhere that they made the dates sooner than usual this year solely to accommodate summer school schedules. If things were to be late, just let them know. They also asked the CCC who are going to be tight with the deadlines to let them know. So just give the UC a heads up.

I just visited UCLA today, and now I can’t feel my legs. I visited Royce Hall, Haines Hall, Murphy Hall, and the Humanities Building. Did some other stuff like go to the extension office thinking they could provide me information, but they ended up regurgitating information that even a burnt corpse could fine online.

@BurntCorpse Are you regretting your decision?

Wow, my C++ professor is the worst!

@CollegeDropout1

A little, but I have no right to complain. I got into my dream school. A school I never thought I’d be able to attend because I was a C and B student from elementary through highschool.

I still remember senior year in highschool when all the Asian kids were bragging about the schools they’d be going to, and I was the only one who didn’t get into a top notch school. That stung to say the least…Not to mention how I was the only Asian kid in non AP’s and honors courses.

Now, after three years, I’m attending one as well…Unbelievable.

I still don’t believe I got into UCLA. They probably mixed me up with another Asian kid since we all look the same. Ah, right, but UCLA admissions can’t see us? Well, our names are similar too. I have one of the most common last names in the entire world, so who’s to say there isn’t another Asian kid with my first name? I feel bad for that kid. He’s probably an IB/AP student who busted his ass for 18 years to get into UCLA, and a loser like me took his place. Hahahaha!

I had a 2.79 GPA in highschool if anyone’s curious…I’m still mad about how they didn’t bump it up to a 2.8

@BurntCorpse I had like a 2.5 GPA, I was the ONLY student in my senior class that didn’t go straight to a 4 year college. Eventually a couple of students transferred to a CC to later transfer to better UCs though

There were only about 100 of us in my senior class so everyone knew everyone business and knew I wasn’t going to school, and I didn’t care though. I didn’t try in high school though I rarely even went and when I did I left home early so getting into UCLA is still the craziest thing in the world to me. I think I’m not going to be able to handle it but we shall see…
