@Cayton I’m not trolling. What even makes you think that?

Is it trolling if you really believe what you are saying?

So @TheWaffenSS decided to say this to me in a PM:

“I find you really annoying, and I’ve been on this thread for a while now. Please just STOP! Even though my views are substantiated by facts, I would get called names if I were to say them. This is why I created another account to expose the lies that you write on this forum. You are poison to UCLA.”

lol

@Cayton is having one of his little tirades. Don’t believe a word he says, he is just trying to make me look bad so that he can take the high moral ground. He really is a bad person.

Must be that guy with the Hitler avatar who made that topic about the “racial purity” of UCLA a week or so ago.

@goodjobdaveman you can’t accept anything offered in the provisional award letter. You have to wait until you get the official electronic financial aid notification (known as eFAN). Once you get that, you can confirm your housing status and accept everything as it is, or you can change your housing status and wait for another eFAN to be generated with the adjusted cost of attendance. Since cost of living is considered higher for on-campus, you should be able to get more aid.

@RamonaFalls Do you happen to know when the eFAN will be sent? Specifically I want to take out the unsubsidized loans that were offered (only thing offered). But I will call and get my housing changed to on campus. Thanks for the response

:(

I sent my transcripts to UCLA online last month, and the myUCLA website still doesn’t indicate that they’ve received my transcripts.

I haven’t been contacted by UCLA itself stating that they haven’t received the transcripts, but it’s supposed to take about 2-3 weeks, right? It’s been 4 weeks for me and I’m starting to feel worried now, lol

Is there anyone you can just call, Cayton?

@fullload

There’s the admissions office, but they’re closed today. I’ll just call them tomorrow.

@Cayton. You should just drop off your transcripts in person at Murphy Hall. Don’t you live in the area?

@derrpy

I’m not sure that they still accept transcripts delivered in person. Besides, it’s quicker to send the transcripts online; my CC takes a little while to prepare transcripts in person.

I thought you couldn’t hand deliver?

@Cayton. @fullload. I hand delivered my sealed transcripts. It cost me $10 to have them printed though – “rush processing” scam. It was very simple. You just go to the undergraduate admissions office with your UCLA ID number. I actually didn’t even have my number on me and they took the transcripts. It took about a week before my status changed on myucla.

@Cayton

Why would it take them longer to prepare transcripts in person? It’s actually much quicker than online, in most cases.

I think you can hand deliver. They just need to be sealed with promise of death if violated.

@ocnative

Eh, that’s what my CC says. Who am I to question them? :P

@Cayton

Lol, don’t believe them

I think they’re just being slow with getting the information up online to people’s account since they’re probably getting tons of transcripts and test scores since it’s the end of the school year. I sent my AP scores more than a month ago to UCLA and it still says that they haven’t received them.
