Congratulations fellow 2014 transfers. For some of us, today is our BIG day!
CONGRATS CLASS OF 2016 :x
@Happy2Help
Thanks!
It was pretty nice to go to the departmental ceremony today. I still have 4 classes in the summer left. Then, I’ll officially be a college graduate.
Life is good…sometimes.
@Cayton
So what’s next for you? Future plans?
Congratulations to all you folks! Good luck in your future plans!
@Cayton Congratulations! You still have summer classes to take, yeah?
@goldencub
Thanks! Yeah, got some summer session classes left. 3 philosophy classes and a lower-div american politics class.
@2016Candles
I plan to do substitute teaching and some other stuff after graduation. I have plans to become a high school history teacher and I need experience in the world of education to get into a teacher credential program, so I’ll do substitute teaching for a while.
good luck with everything you do @Cayton! You helped so many of your peers, including me, navigate this transfer journey. You’re a natural leader, which will serve you very well in education. I hope that your life is more than you can even imagine! Sending you so much Bruin love!!
@2016Candles
Thanks!!! I appreciate the kind words! try my best around here; a lot of people helped me here, so I’m just paying it forward. Same with education: a lot of teachers helped me, so I want to pay it forward through teaching.
I wish all the same to you as well in your future endeavors! I remember you saying you wanted to go to grad school. Any updates on those plans?
@Cayton
I took a year off from school, but I start grad school in August - Masters Public Administration. Classes are in the evening, so it works well with my work schedule.
