The Official "How Do You Think You Did?" Thread

Well, the ACT just finished here at my boarding school, so I thought I’d start this thread.

I didn’t prep at all- literally. I had no idea what was on the test. But I thought I did really well. The math section was the only one I didn’t feel so good about, as usual.

Anyone else?

WOW

This ACT Test was by far the easiest one i have taken

English- very easy except 2-3 questions
Math- ***?!?!? Last 15 questions were a piece of CAKE!
Reading- blahh…1 hard passage…and i ran out of time sooo guesses on 3
Science- VERY EASY! The DNA passage was a cake…

Let’s start compiling answers by section

Did you guys have the math test where the first one was if the train was going at 8 miles per hour for 1 hour how long would it take for 50 miles?

Never mind. Let’s complie them uner the other thred that is the “Official FEbruary 10 ACT”

For english, this question about ‘‘which of the following choices would be unacceptable’’? and the choice D was unusually, but the question was dealing with how excited this girl was…blahh yeah i have a terrible memory…where is everybody??? usually for the SATs the thread has 400 posts by now

oh yea I thought that one was weird too but I put unusual. i’m going to ask this here because I don’t want to see answers on the other thread.
what was the answer for the Law of sines one?

15sin(40?)/sin(75)

when do we get these back? it sucks waiting for this and the sat…ahhhhhhhh

math was decently hard, but i’m a freshman
english was fine, just the ‘which would not be acceptable’ was annoying
science the DNA was a piece of cake- electricity hard -what is an H
reading i had 10 minutes to spare i loved the orchid passage

the answer was 15sin40/sin75

I think the hardest part of that test was the speech and orchids reading sections.

was that answer choice E?

the only passage I liked was the free speech one. some other topics felt quite random, like the use of flowers in food, native american music, orchids, jump roping, etc.
