Of course!

I’m first gen low income, from MA, and white

I had a 3.94 UW gpa and about a 4.3 weighted in my sophomore year when I applied to the schools (I’m also applying as a reclassed 10th)

7 honors and 1 AP so far in high school

Extracurriculars:

Sailing (8-9-10th)
Swim (10th)
Skiing (6-7-8-9-10th)
Ceramics (10th)
Part-Time Job (10th)

Testing:
I took the SSAT and scored kinda low (87th percentile altogether but I had a higher English with 94th and a low math 75th percentile) I can’t remember the exact number score though, sorry

Interview: My interviews with Groton and Deerfield were amazing!! I could tell they loved me (I also took up more interview time than normal but I was also at the end of the day)

Essays: I wrote about a variety of topics, some about taking care of my disabled mom, others about repairing a bike by myself and using it the whole summer, I also wrote about a lot of books I read, too.

LORs: I did have to get 4 LORs from those I didn’t know that well (since I just transferred to a new school) but I know they wrote good things about me! I got the 3 required from my English/math/guidance but I also had letters from my sailing coach, a neuropsych professor at a nearby university, and my AP world teacher.

Overall I think I had some holes in my application, but I think I did the best I could for my circumstances.

Goodluck with your prep school admissions!!

How would you send your new recommendation letters to them? Through email? Or will your recommender contact the school directly?

When you email them, they will add all the new items straight to your application

I would recommend Exeter! Exeter is such a phenomenal school and Exeter will give your daughter many opportunities and lifetime experiences! Every program they have is very good and Exeter also can get your kid into the most prestigious schools like Harvard, Yale etc.
