All of you kids on here are so impressive! Could you share which test you took for CTY acceptance?
I took the SCAT but I took it in elementary school so I’m not sure if that’s an option for older students
I took an online SCAT! Depending on your qualifications for the verbal and quantitive sections, you are able to sign up for different courses.
I remember some people talking about a program that they used to apply to bs called quiz scholars or something like that does anyone know the name?
@MADad43 I was able to submit my kids’ Cogat results which they took at their schools as part of their annual standardized testing. I believe the kids need to score within the top 2% for math to be able to take math/science programs and then top 2% in verbal to take english/history, etc.
My kids took the SCAT in elementary and one took the SAT in high school (back when you had to requalify after a certain age, but they don’t do that anymore).
My daughter submitted i-ready scores.
is it normal for a school that accepted you to like give you the max amount of financial aid they couldve gave but u didnt even fill out the clarity form/say how much u needed, only like clicked needed financial aid when first originally applying.
i applied full paid almost everywhere else
It is obviously a mistake.
Um, it wasn’t though. Thats why I find it really weird. Not so obvious. Like thats the actual financial aid package I got according to them.
Oh and also don’t get me wrong I’m not upset by it at all.

what usually happens after you accept your enrollment offer? I dont know if I’m being impatient (sorry im just really excited to go) but I only got an automated email saying “We have received your contract”- what usually happens next?
You will get a slew of emails and pay the deposit.

hi, im just joining this thread. I applied to a couple highschools and im just curious if you guys could write where you applied and how it went, plus some stats (ex. SSAT scores, EC’s, grades, awards). thank you!
