oh yipppeee!!!
It doesn’t mean anything, just means its a need blind school. And like the other statuses mean something but no one is 100% sure what it exactly means.
thank you… my twin boys do not have it this lock icon… interesting…
It has nothing to do with need blind. It just means the school locked the information you submitted so you can’t continue to make edits.
Oh shoot really? Alright, mb for the misinformation ![]()
We have two financial aid applications (split household). For the same school, my app is locked, hers is not. The school decides to lock, but doesn’t have to.
Oh, that makes more sense. Whats your opinions on the statuses like “Awaiting Review”, “In Review”, and “Proposed”. I have my thoughts but not 100% sure.
Proposed is ready for release financial aid offer in the Clarity system waiting for M10 release.
Any other status likely means either school hasn’t put offer in clarity system or is handling via another communication method (if that exists).
Of the schools we applied that I am near 100% that we have acceptances (based on coach communication or mail notifs) some are in proposed status and one still is in review.
I don’t want to assume awaiting review is bad, but it’s possible.
Ok that was exactly what I was thinking. Thanks!
FedEX?
UPS notif
hey its called a freakout thread for a reason ahaha
how do i turn on mail notfissss?
Like any Subscription-based software system, not every school likely uses the fields or the system in the same way. Some may never update the Status field. They each can use the system in their own way. I wouldn’t put any weight into the lack of fields changing. Just like the lack of mail notifications don’t mean you aren’t getting into a school.
Do you already see status such as proposed/ in review? What if we do not see anything? Yikes!!!
I have 1 school that has “Proposed” and some of my friends have “Proposed” or “In Review” for their schools. But no one knows whether they got into anywhere until M10 for sure.
