Stressed
Sending emails to my prospective boarding schools with last minute updates
Did you guys send a lot of emails during the process, I emailed with AOs from some schools but it wasn’t like a everyday conversation. I wonder what some of you guy’s approaches were. Does emailing more make you “top of mind” for the AOs or is it annoying, I applied last year and was waitlisted at most or didn’t receive enough FA and I was advised to send a email about my growth. I sent it to one school but thought it would be “overkill” to send it to the others.
i email once every 1-2 weeks asking about the admissions process/programs they have etc its not like super often
I never emailed ![]()
i haven’t emailed my aos since after the 15th. my advisor has, but i didn’t want to send frivolous emails. i did however contact the admissions teams, program directors, my aos, and teachers quite a bit during the application process.
nvm my decision comes “tomorrow evening” i’m so cooked
Our son just emailed them to thank them after his interview and then to update them about a new info 2 weeks 1/2 ago. ![]()
Did they ever respond?
aos are usually super slow with responses i’m pretty sure i would go like 3 days without a response before i got one
i find it amusing that we’re living inhabitants on a floating rock, suspended in space, preoccupied with getting a series of letters to get into a place where we congregate with others to absorb information ![]()
this is crazy
GIVE ME MY ACCEPTANCES!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

No because why’d you have to say it like that ![]()
I’m literally so ready to just sponge in information.
i say things like this irl all the time and i think i’ve given 37 people existential crises already ![]()
noooo
y’all i think i failed my bio test ![]()
noooo
does your school allow retakes or extra credit?
schools allow retake? some teachers at my school offer extra credit, but it’s like 5 points a quarter which is nothing. and no one offers retakes that’s crazy
is that normal?
it depends on the teacher and the score at my school
are you in high school?
