<p>Back on topic: Has anyone applied to Vanderbilt or Northwestern-Qatar?</p>
<p>^I personally would not recommend Vanderbilt. The deep south is not very welcoming of foreign students. The north is really nice, however. :)</p>
<p>If you’re still interested in southern schools though, Duke is better than several Ivies, and the school I would’ve chosen over my Ivy had its financial aid office been more accommodating.</p>
