Same here. Their letter just mentions that ‘you will receive the award notification from our Office of Financial Aid shortly.’</p>

<p>@leo- NO idea. Princeton was the forerunner, but that’s because Dartmouth’s aid package was a bummer. Amherst has changed everything. I’m hoping Stanford confuses me even more tonight. Honestly, I don’t know how or why I got in. Such a gamble. Everyone here is exceptionally gifted and intelligent; all we need is a stroke of luck.</p>

<p>As these decisions come out, it seems the recruiting season at Yale for next year’s class (2017) has also begun. My son just received his “good candidate for Yale letter” today. I know it does not mean much, but son was happy to see it.</p>

<p>@bluelove: Yeah, I heard my school shut down all their apps. I just still find it hard to believe though. At least one Grammarian gets in every year. </p>
<p>Sad as it is, it just goes to show what I’ve believed all along though. School doesn’t matter for uni admissions.</p>
