<p>I got a letter today saying that they “regret to inform me that because of the keen competition”, I was not admitted into the program. :(</p>

<p>Thats bizarre Poik… I’ve never heard of rejections being sent out so early but it must just be SCA because a production major said he recieved his rejection a little while ago as well. Sorry to hear it though… I can only imagine how much that sucked… :(</p>

<p>Three students posted on Facebook they had been accepted to Production in SCA. They are freshmen who are being considered for major scholarships. Two are from Missouri.</p>
<p>there is someone on here who said he/she got rejected from Production. So, SCA Production acceptances are being made these days…</p>
<p>There were 16~ production students accepted for either the Presidential or Trustee scholarship. I’m not sure exactly how many kids are accepted but USC looks to fill a class of about 60 for this year (they may only accept 60, most film schools don’t let in more than how many they want). </p>
<p>There have been a couple people who applied to the SCA who did not get in but got accepted to the University. These are generally considered to be acceptances though so I don’t think it counts against the April 1 being the rejection day. When I was there I was told production wouldn’t find out until the last week for March. This came from the Assistant Dean so I would imagine he was right. Has anyone from Production gotten in without a scholarship?</p>

<p>candy45, no… I don’t have the oasis link on my page though. Early decision kids usually got that on the day that USC predicted their mail would reach them it would seem. So we will see, I’ll check tomorrow to see if I can.</p>

<p>I’ve been accepted but without a declared major. Is it possible to minor or even major in film or theatre at USC if you didn’t apply specifically to those majos?</p>
