Hey guys, over the past couple of weeks, I’ve realized that many of us are staying up later every night. Also, it seems like the same few of us are on here at/around the late night hours (midnight - 3 AM).

I’m creating this thread for anyone/everyone to express themselves in their insomnia-induced states. Digress about your late-night homework, complain about the (seemingly) never-ending admissions process, and displace any and all anxiety or concerns here.

Additionally, ask any questions or discuss anything that may be relevant to the UC Transfer Forum. When it’s late at night and you don’t think anybody is on, seek refuge here.

This is for the few of us - the coffee-making, red bull drinking, sleep-deprived, hard-working, conscientious students that are pensively awaiting the fates that the admissions committees will be (to a degree) determining for us.

lol hopefully we’ll all get through the next couple of months in one piece. Best of luck to all!

Here here! I should have just posted my sleepy question here instead of making a new thread. Tonight’s goal: be asleep by 1 am!

hmm maybe u could delete the thread and ask it in this one?

the past few days, i have completed my calc homework at an average of 30 minutes per problem–I am no almost done with one assignment, and almost finally only one assignment behind. wooo!!1

ps: anyone know how much submitting a fafsa after march 2nd will hurt you? in my case march 9/10 :[ jqwbeabsvhjfvjk!!! It’s just adding onto my stress. the past few nights ive gone to sleep at 3:30 and woken up at 7 :[.

hurry up already! berkeley so knows what it’s doing by keeping the decisions til april 30th!!!

Question: I’m a psych major and almost every uc require psych 1 from my CC. I took psych 1 at ucsb during my single quarter there. That satisfies that pre req right?

from UCI’s website it says IN ALL CAPS that if you submit ur FAFSA after the March 2nd deadline you may not be eligible for all grants.

I imagined emilsinclair9 saying the entire second paragraph in a soothing, late night jazz radio show voice.

anyone ever wish they considered SAT scores for transfers? haha. ps. we need to form a facebook group cc insomniacs 2010.

^ NO on the SAT Scores! Lol.

^ i second that notion ( no SAT scores)

Yes on the SAT scores. It might offer a little more certainty in this uncertain world.

lol I never took the SAT only the PSAT.

@EmpathyInAnarchy- that was deep.

i concur with empathy. i killed the sats. that might just give me an edge on the admissions process. :)

i just looked at my collegeboard scores and it seriously looks like i cheated. i bombed it the first time around. took it seriously when i retook senior year. hahahah

I never took the SAT, but I would imagine that I would’ve done fine.

WOW lol I sign off for half an hour, and this is the community reaction. Great guys! Anyway, SFwarrior, I agree, a Facebook Group would be really cool. I’m definitely down.

Do you want to create it? Otherwise, I could. I am the worst procrastinator on Earth I think. I’m legitimately searching for ways to procrastinate at this point.

Currently I’m watching TV, writing an essay on Somatic Delusional Disorder (what? lol), and spacing on here.

@ ktothe10: Yes, your UCSB Psych 1 should qualify as the Intro to Psych you need to transfer.

@ theregoesevan: lmao thanks man.

hahah @emil I can make it. ill do it right now. cc insomniacs 2010 just look for it. :)

sf what did you get?

@ SFwarrior: YES! We are revolutionizing late-night College Confidential-izing…
