I’m pretty much in love with Berkeley, so I’m glad to hear that maybe I could see a school that could be near or equal in my mind and then I won’t be completely devastated if I didn’t get into UCB. Who knows, maybe I’ll like UCLA even more! I shall embark on my UCLA trip with an open-mind, an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and some sunscreen :).</p>
<p>emilsinclair9- yeah u guys are the only ones who know how i feel about transffering and waiting and how important and exciting it all is. i love our random chats to keep us going into the next day. a students life is stressful. lol</p>
<p>um yeah ive been to UCLA quite a lot, i think it is a wonderful environment. the city around it is awesome and so is Santa Monica. there is a lot of life, however when its time to study its serious business. i felt the competitive vibe there for sure.</p>
<p>oh and i love me some Evan(s), they are the best looking.</p>

<p>@ jane: Yeah, UCLA seems to have a great balance of social life and academics. I’m just not sure if I could live in socal…Well I’m sure I could, but I don’t know how much I would enjoy it. I’ve lived right next to SF all my life. I can’t wait to visit though, and hopefully my concerns are completely wrong. I’ve heard great things about UCLA.</p>

<p>emilsinclair9- yeah if i got in to Berkeley it would be the same thing for me. i lived in SoCal all my life, i dont know if i would adjust to the weather change but its like a right of passage for people in my family to go up to the Bay area when they transfer.
my cousins have gone to CAL, CSUSJ, and the Academy of Art in SF and one cousin in Stanford.
and they have all enjoyed their experiences, i know i would enjoy it to.
i would truly be happy at either Cal or UCLA and i dont know where i want to go anymore b/c they are both awesome</p>
