Farsi eh? thats cool!
i can say a few phrases in Korean, a couple things in Japanese, a few in Russian and Croatian.

@divy is that short for Divya?

It’s all right, yeah. If this education stuff doesn’t work out for me I might go to Afghanistan with the military for a year and work as a translator on base. They get paid bank But that’s kind of scary and I dunno if I could do that.

My dad speaks like five languages but he didn’t teach me any other than Farsi. I really wish he had taught me German, cause we went to Germany a few times and I really liked it.

hebreo! mi mami le encantaria o

Lesson from 1 day in germany: Ich mochte ein bier bitte (i want a beer please)

I don’t know any Asian language words, sadly. That’s cool that you know some Korean and Japanese, I wish I knew some Tagalog - my two best friends are Filipino but I haven’t picked much up from them. What if they talk **** on me in Tagalog? haha jk

Night Jane. Have fun/get some sleep

buenas noches jane, suerte y que te levantes a tiempo ;)

Brazil, where’d you apply again? I forget

pretty much all the UC’s. i wanted to have as many chances as possible, though im really only interested in santa cruz, berkeley, and davis. you?

UCSC, UCR, UCSD, UCD, CSULB, SJSU, got into R and SC so far. Everything else is pending So what’s your major?

global economics at SC, economics at davis, Development studies at Berkeley.

im really just interested in development of the third world, but i want to go the econ route if possible.

Congrats on Santa Cruz, they have some wonderful programs from what I’ve heard! what’s your major?

English/Literature
(name varies by school)
At this point I’m thinking maybe minor in Psych? And I’m not quite sure what I want to do with my English degree. Considering Law in the long run. Or teaching. Or something in the Psych field. Or journalism? I don’t really know yet but for now I know I definitely want to do English, cause all of those options seem like real possibilities to me :)

Thank you! I don’t think I’ll end up going cause it’s so far away but I’m definitely going to visit all the schools before I decide. Did you get any acceptances yet?

Yep, accepted to R, SC, and SB… waiting, impatiently, for the others…

I’m really tired, I think I’ll go to bed now. Night divy

Well congrats

Night haha

Wow 107 pages?! lol What have I been missing??? I missed you guys.

UCLA is awesome. However, the air in the Bay Area…it’s just so much better.

humm I’ve run into an interesting situation…
if I take both Math 3A and math4 at my CC I need Math 235 to count as math 3 and only 235 and 280+235 to count for math 4. In that sense, Math 4 = math3a + more…

at the UC, Math4 is a prereq for math 3a…

seriously, wow.
I believe I need to take both of them. Sadly I’m not able to find much of anything relatively easily somewhere between my CC failing and UCI having a **** poor websetup I’m frustrated… the school with the best computer science division is failing at webcreation.

caffeine and frantic searching determined that my 1 year calc sequence at a CC covers one eligible prereq for 3a. RELIEF.
