<p>My phase II starts this evening. So far I have 61A and CogSci 1. Trying to decide between Ling 100, Math 54, or a Stats course. </p>

<p>I’m taking two upper-division classes, PS 124C Ethics and Justice in International Affairs & PS 171 California Politics. I’m also taking a lower-division polisci methods class, PS 3. I’m planning to take a 1 unit DeCal also, for fun. </p>

<p>Normally I would bet she’d choose Stanford over Berkeley but Obama likes to keep it real, so if any President’s kid is gonna go to a public university, it could be her. </p>

<p>How many upper div are you taking right now, so far? If you want to ease into the first semester, you should consider maybe an AC class. </p>
<p>@ocnative, I’m taking the first upper division for the majority of MCB majors (particularly those in the neurobio, infectious diseases, and developmental genetics which are the emphasis I’m thinking about ) MCB 102 Biochem, I also signed up for an AC course. I basically have to just add two more classes, but I don’t know if to take another science class or not (especially if I don’t really need it), or simply take other courses outside of my major (I was also looking into Decal classes). Do you have any recommendations? thank you :)</p>

<p>Nice! Sounds like you have a good schedule to adjust to Cal for the first semester. I’m actually looking into the Decal classes too. I’d love to do Archery. </p>
<p>Haha I wonder if any school would ever reject either of them. I couldn’t see it happening, as long as they have decent grades</p>
<p>It’s not like any child of any president is applying to schools the same way we all do. They probably have conversations with schools (off the record of course) and discuss the possibility of the kid going there. If either or both parties decide it’s not a good fit, then they move on without the school having to “reject” the applicant.</p>
<p>At least that’s how I envision it.</p>
<p>I finished Phase 2 yesterday, is anyone planning on taking that Transfer Transition class? I’m also looking at that miyazaki decal.</p>
<p>Since Malia is working on a TV series she might be looking toward film or documentaries as a career, which could mean college in LA. Plus, her dad went to Occidental, so she could go there.</p>
