The Official UCB Fall of 2014 Decisions Thread

Maybe. I did enroll for one but I think I’m going to drop it in favor of a decal.

@ocnative Same. I enrolled in the Tuesday 11-12, but a decal might take its place. What decals are you looking at?

<a href=“Startup Schools: America's Most Entrepreneurial Universities 2014”>http://www.forbes.com/sites/liyanchen/2014/07/30/startup-schools-americas-most-entrepreneurial-universities/</a></p>

3!

@Freetofly112‌

Not sure. I’m considering either the Consulting one or Material Sciences through Food. Still looking at many though. How about you?

@ocnative I’m looking at the Miyazaki one. Either that, or sight singing (if they decide to offer it)

@calbro‌

I’m glad that Berkeley and UCLA ranked highly on that list, at #3 and #5, respectively.

No surprise that Stanford is #1, though. That school is a factory that produced new entrepreneurs all of the time.

Lol one of my friends posted that article bragging about SDSU being #18… I just sat back and giggled :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone else get their roommate info today?

@Cayton‌ Yeah man! I was surprised that UC San Diego wasn’t on the list, but I’m happy for Santa Barbara being at 20!

@Freetofly112‌ Yeah, I did!

How many credits are you guys enrolled in right now? I’m curious as to if it’s important that we are enrolled in the full time minimum right now for financial aid because I was going to take the Investigating NK decal but CCNs wont be available until instruction starts.

Enrolled in 14 units right now!

I’m sure you guys are excited to start school at Berkeley soon. Are you guys nervous? :)

@Cayton‌

Lol a lot of us have left this forum now that classes will start. For the most part, I am nervous! Most particularly towards the dorm situation, since I’ve never had roommates before so living in a triple should be interesting. As for the classes, I’m looking forward to it but I’m really more excited towards the new environment and life in the Bay Area.

:)>-

Good luck everyone! Please come back and tell us your stories!!! :-bd

@luckie1367‌

I hate to say this, but many, if not most of them will permanently leave the college confidential community soon once school starts. I’ve seen it too many times on this website in previous years’ transfer admission threads. :(

You Berkeley Bears better come back when you’re not busy with school! :-S

:(

You can always harangue their UCB choice via pm @cayton. It might never end. :">

@lindyk8‌

Will do, lol

Does anyone know why UCB tells their TAP applicants to mention that they are a part of the TAP program? Do they get extra points just for being in TAP?

@CollegeDropout1‌
They don’t need to mention that they’re in TAP besides marking a box in the UC app since TAP participants automatically gets a code on their app that distinguish to readers that they’re TAP. In some sense, they kinda get brownie points for being in it.
