Keep in mind stuff like IS vs OOS makes a big difference. And IDK if anyone is gonna say it but things to up the “diversity” of the university. Also what college you are going into. If I wanted to get into LSA I would be concerned about Ross and CoE students

Thanks for the help, j89. I am applying EA (submitted my application yesterday) and my school is one of the first they look at. Will this help?

batpad, I think ur good. You are IS and your numbers aren’t horrible. Just get some really sappy essays about your time in india and you’re good

shouldn’t michigan be the one school that no one should be concerned about getting chances for? Ok- let me re-phrase that. It’s just that michigan has this document online [url=<a href=“http://www.admissions.umich.edu/prospective/prospectivefreshmen/appreview.php]Office”>http://www.admissions.umich.edu/prospective/prospectivefreshmen/appreview.php]Office of Undergraduate Admissions: Application Review/url where the admissions criteria of the school is stated explicitly.

All you have to do is cross-check your own application with that of the freshman profile in order to determine if you’re an excellent- outstanding- good- etc. etc. candidate. It’s fairly straightforward, and I can only imagine once in a blue moon where this rating system would fail. Just be true to yourself and measure yourself objectively.

Also 1000th post :)
