[ *] Other Factors/questions: What can I do to improve my chances? I love the weather in michigan, thats not an issue. Plus *would Early Decision increase my chances here?

eromano333 - Reach. OOS, Low gpa/sat.

natalie9494 - a little difficult. I would say reach-slight reach. Although your school might be good you’re not in the top 10%. However, your other stats are good so I would apply and see.

dcagle - slight reach. OOS, lower sat. This can definitely be a match if you emphasize your interests in your essays and do more extracurriculars around chemistry (not just college course).

RonPaulFTW - match. Your In-state high school rigor and SAT are good. Your ecs are good since you played pretty rigorous baseball.

broncos93 - Match/Safety. No worries.

And to all above, I’d recommend doing early action simply because its non-binding and from talk, it seems that Michigan admissions is more generous to early action students than those that apply later on. Its simply the safer route.

Thanks  Yeah, its 2% in the Nation according to Newsweek! D:
One of the best in Texas…

and okay thank you! i’m definitely doing early action, partly for the less stress and partly because of what you say and what a lot of other CC boards say.
