They most likely misinterpreted U-M’s announcement that it was no longer only counting core classes and excluding freshman year as some announcement that they stopped recalculating in its entirety. They definitely still recalculate if an unweighted GPA isn’t clearly listed on the transcript.</p>

<p>Hey guys so my SAT score is 1960. (1300 just math and CR). My weighted GPA is 4.03 and my unweighted GPA is 3.76. So far I have taken 3(and i am currently taking one more) AP classes. AP Chem- 5 on the AP test. AP calc- 5 on the AP test. APUSH- 4. Also I got a 31 on the ACT
