CoE should be a very high match to low reach for you. The admission rate of CoE has dropped down from 30% in 2013 to 20% in 2014. It is likely to drop further this upcoming year. For OOS students, it is probably as competitive as some Ivies.</p>

Since you are still junior, you may be able to bring up your GPA for a better chance. Just be careful as you are taking 4 AP this year. Don’t let your GPA go downward. You do need a good recommendation from GC though.</p>
<p>How much does being African American help in admissions? I heard they were really pushing to increase black enrollment this year.</p>
