@awkwardntall Your ACT and GPA are both slightly above admission average. For a student from OOS, it would be a very high match to low reach for LSA.

@2019hopeful Your uwGPA is very low for UMich CoE. Is it typical for your school? Your GC may need to address that. Your SAT is near the 75th percentile. It may be a low reach due to the low GPA. Being a female applicant may help your chance at CoE.

What are my chances out of state? Michigan is at the top of my list.

I took the ACT again in October and I applied Early Action, but I’m not sure if the
new scores would be considered in the admissions process, so I was wondering if someone could help explain how that would work out.

@jordynelson Your Math score is weak for engineering. Your GPA is also below average. For CoE from OOS, it would be a reach for you.

@Mythic Your ACT is too low for CoE even from in state. It would be a reach for you. Your October score should be considered if you choose free score report and also have submitted previous score by deadline. Nevertheless, you will likely need 30+ for a chance at CoE.

@billcsho - I find it hard to believe that a 3.88 UW is considered low for any school. Where is your proof for this assessment? I would love to see backup for that statement. What are your credentials for any of these assessments?
