I think that this possibly the toughest questions to answer without ending up rephrasing a brochure… How should I go about writing an answer to this? Help? please?

i used a college counselor in the admissions process. he told me that you need to be specific in this essay. like actually show that you did your research. name a specific class/teacher that interests you, an organization…etc. i hated this essay too and i had to wirite a ton of them. & like if the schools mission is “to educate men and women for others” (boston college) you can talk about how that is what you are searching for in a school and it will prepare you for what you want to do…
good luck!!!

If youre being honest about it you should have no problem… Why do you really wanna go to that school? Does their motto coincide with yours…are there certain classes you plan on taking…your major…dorms…it’s simply what amkes that college stand out from all the others youre applyng to and why you decided to applyt there anyways…

Also, if you visited or plan to visit the school, talk to current students. As awkward as this may seem, they actually don’t mind talking about their school. Ask them what their favorite and least favorite aspects of the school are and try to incorporate that in your essay.
