<p>I wonder how those actually sentenced by the courts to do community service are viewed. Ironic that those two groups make up the soup kitchen volunteer squad.</p>

<p>I know a couple of people who are like that… sadly, they are not as efficient and they just stand around in the soup kitchen chitchatting with the other people and trying to be counter-productive…</p>

<p>Our school district requires 40 CS hours for graduation. Interestingly, the local soup kitchen recently banned high schoolers looking for CS hours from volunteering.</p>
