<p>It is better than trying to be a snob and writing the Economist or the New Yorker. It isn’t a mistake at all. I wrote MAD Magazine.</p>

<p>yikes, they do mention some nasty stuff in the onion (the last article anyone?) but then again, they are well respected as satirists. as a matter of fact, last years ap language exam had a essay question based off of an onion article! it was so awesome (to bad i blew it lol) so yeah the onion is ok. go for it.</p>
<p>lol yeah i think i took that AP…wasn’t it the passage about some new shoe soles or something? that was fun to write about.</p>
