<p>does anyone know when the online application for freshmen applying to Amherst comes out? </p>

<p>also, where can i find information on what constitutes a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd decile applicant? </p>

<p>I believe decile strictly refers to your place in your graduating high school class. You are in the 1st decile if you rankk in the top 10% of your grad class’s GPA, 2nd decile=20% and so on</p>
