<p>every day when I log on there are about 5 news posts asking in the optional essay is well, optional… and people always say yes, it is truly optional… only write it if you are a great writer. otherwise, there will be no negative effect.</p>

<p>I was just somewhat criticizing these numerous threads.</p>

<p>I’ve actually only had an account for about a week and already 137 posts which is sad… but I have been reading threads for a long time just never bothered making an account until I wanted to know my chances.</p>
