<p>No it’s not. 64% come from public schools, which eliminates any “overwhelmingly private school” feel.
Also, as far as attire is concerned, the kids wear what they feel comfortable wearing: if you wear sweats to class, it isn’t considered a faux pas like it may be at a reputedly preppy school, such as Washington and Lee.</p>
<p>No, Pomona is definitely not preppy. If you’re looking for a preppy school, you would like CMC better.</p>
