<p>I am a high school sophmore interested in a summer art program. I was considering the Putney School programs, but I was wondering if the program is any good. I would like to do some sort of summer art program this summer. However, I have serveral events going on in June and July so the only good time for me to go would be after July 19 or 20, 2010. </p>
<p>So is it any good or is there a better program with dates after July 19 or 20? I’m also considering Massart. I could really use some help on good programs. My interest are drawing, painting, and I would like to try glasswork.</p>
<p>i was looking at putney too, but for writing. personally im more interested in a college setting, but putney’s kind of, idk, isolated. like if you read the website, they take your cell phones and electronic devices away for the whole time, and you do all these singing activities, etc. there are a lot of really good art programs, maybe try rhode island? im thinking risd when you said art, lol. </p>

<p>My daughter attended Putney last summer and had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend Putney to anyone. My daughter loved the “sing” aspect and the diversity of all the students. She met some wonderful people who she will keep in touch with for the rest of her life.</p>
