Edited the photo link out because it didn’t work - see below

Your photo didn’t work for me - do you mean like these? They are 12 inches…

Yes, but those look enormous!! :).

 you said at least 12 inches!

Here’s a string of more ‘normal’ looking round blubs, clear though, not white…they are only 5 inches! 20% off w/coupon

I imagined you wanted to hang them. If you want some that just sit on the ground there are these:

They come in 5, 6, 8, 10 and 14 inches…super cool…but not cheap.

Yes, want them to hang….

LOL, the ones you posted maybe are just really close up but they look like jumbo beach ball sized!!! :joy:

I know! I love them! :joy:

Not sure this is a good place for this question, but who uses Olaplex products? They are having a 30% off sale, and I’m thinking of trying it. I have color treated fine hair, but I don’t use a dryer often and I haven’t used a curling iron in a LONG time. What should I order?

I have three Chase credit cards and a checking account there. I received an email from them this morning:

Your Chase card is available to use with Paze - Activate now!..
Your Chase card is now available to use with Paze, a new online checkout experience offered to Chase customers…What is Paze? Paze is a convenient way to pay online, brought to you by Chase and other leading financial institutions. Soon, you’ll see Paze as a payment option at participating merchants. By selecting Paze at checkout, you can quickly access your eligible credit and debit cards and make a payment.

I don’t think I need this. Anyone see an advantage?

I don’t know anything about it, but I would guess it lets you pay for stuff without having to actually enter your credit card number.

If the vendor doesn’t get your number, it can’t be hacked out of them.

After consulting their site it seems lots of the major banks will be offering this. I had not heard of it either, but after reading about it, I think not having to enter a name or password into a site, and, as stated, the vendor not having any access to your card number, which eliminates the possibility it can be hacked from their site, seem like solid improvements. They will send a code to your phone to be able to make charges to either you credit or debit card. Interesting…

Be careful… the email might be a Scam. (If you take any action, do it from Chase site… NOT a link in the email.)

Maybe call them globes instead of balls. Good luck!

Trying to plan an airline trip to visit family, juggling various calendar constraints including my dental appointments for a new crown. Should I have any concerns if I travel a day or so after the first appointment (the long one, where they grind down and install a temporary crown)?

In my experience, temporaries often don’t stay in. You can usually glue them back yourself. But if you accidentally bite on it if it comes off and it breaks, you’re in trouble.

Certainly discuss it with your dental team in advance of your big appointment. They’ll tell you how to floss around that tooth (don’t pull up!) and foods to avoid – especially on that side.

Does your family have a trusted dentist you could see in an emergency?

Find a dentist that can create the crown while you wait, and get the whole thing done in one visit.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Alas, no trusted dentist back home. (Dad is 97, and most of his trusted medical providers are now retired.)

H’s dentist does a crown all in one visit. He recently had one done and has had no problems.

As much as I like and trust my current dentist, I’ll probably change to H’s dentist because they give a substantial discount with our Medicare Part B plan (not an Advantage plan).
