I hate Corporate Medicine. Healthcare should not be profit-driven.
Most people don’t begrudge a business making a profit but it is now obscene considerable the stuff they get my with. And frankly, denying people treatment should be illegal. They are sentencing someone to a death sooner rather than later.

Never really been a tea drinker but started making elderberry tea from organic elderberries and adding in fresh sliced ginger - boil for 15 minutes and pour over Bigelow elderberry green tea bag (no plastics in tea bags) to steep with a little bit of pure organic stevia. Makes a pretty good tasting tea and the green tea, elderberries, and ginger are all anti-inflammatory. I’m enjoying the taste and hopig it is doing it’s job!
Does anyone know what Lazo sauce is? We will be on a Korean Air flight and one of the meal choices is a fish dish with lazo sauce. I would be interested in trying it, but am not a fan of spicy. I cant fond anything at all about this sauce, and wonder if its a modified spelling? Anyone know?? TIA
Here’s a recipe that mentions Lazo. It has black pepper.
Thanks. But when I translate to english that word is nowhere
Here’s what I found:
“Lazo sauce typically refers to a chimichurri sauce, which is a flavorful condiment made with herbs, garlic, vinegar, and oil, commonly used in Latin American cuisine. It is often served with grilled meats and can enhance the flavor of various dishes.”
Don’t know if that’s the same thing as on your flight…
Thanks. I found something similar but spelled differently so was not sure if it was the same. I am ok with black pepper- just not hot/spicy stuff
Thanks. Korean air isnt going to tell me, I dont think
If nervous about spiciness, I’d explore other options.
I tried the link on the app to get more info on the food but it gave me an error message. I may change my selection just to be safe.
I always find safe is best, especially on long plane ride. Bland I can always handle. Spice—not so much!
Heck, you are routinely provided salt & pepper to add as needed anyway.
Random question. I only fly once or twice a year if that. So not on CC level of flying.
I have a work trip in March. Awful choices of flights. Is there any disadvantage or buyer beware to booking two one way tickets (different airlines) as opposed to a round trip?
Don’t know that I’ve done that before.
My H has done that before to get better flight times and it’s been fine. Usually the only advantage to flying round trip is it’s more cost effective.
Yeah weirdly not the case I this instance!
Once upon a time it used to be cheaper to book round trip one carrier. Those days are gone. Mix and match for best pricing and schedule.
I have booked separate flights at times when it works better. I’ve even booked different airlines when that works better. I’ve not had issues. Just keep track of everything.
You may be more likely to get flagged for extra TSA screening if you don’t have a round trip ticket—that was the case for me sometimes.
We make nearly all our flight reservations one way (unless international which still tend to be cheaper RT). Often, it is because we are staying longer, and don’t have return plans yet made. But even for short trips, it allows changes on one part of the trip without affecting the other. (If we decide we want or need to leave or return on a different date than originally planned).
It also allows you to mix and match airlines if there are any benefits (lower price in one direction, or better connection, etc.)
