The SAT is dead?

The SAT is dead (or at least changed). Good idea or bad idea?

If you mean that more people took the ACT this year then I guess you could say it’s dead as the main standardized test.

ACT is a lot more popular now. I do not know how SAT will remain the same.

act is just as great as an option as sat is. i think it is best to take both atleast once to see what you score better on. then work harder on that test to improve even more. cheers

The SAT has a new head honcho who was part of the “common core.” He recently announced that the SAT will undergo a major revision. Sounds as if he wants it to be more like the ACT in that it will test from the high school curriculum. So, if the new SAT is really just another ACT, then I suppose one could say the SAT is dying.
