THE SAT IS FLAWED. THE COLLEGE BOARD NOW SEES THIS!!!

Oops, I should have said “the coasts” and not “the East.”

As much as Wikipedia isn’t the world’s best research tool, here’s what it has to say: "Historically, the SAT has been more popular among colleges on the coasts and the ACT more popular in the Midwest and South. "

My point was that historically it’s been geography, not a question of “dumb kids/smart kids” or conspiracy theory, that has tended to dictate which exam a kid has taken.

@bjkmom

Okay. So aside from my JFK conspiratorial theories, what do you think explains the geographical and preferential trend towards the ACT in Northeast Asia? Do you think that it perhaps has something to do with the increasing number of Caucasian teachers from the Midwest and South who have begun to migrate to Korea and China over the past several years because of their inability to find jobs in their own hometowns?

Or rather, let me rephrase that and state “the increasing popularity of and preference for the ACT in Northeast Asia” because one might argue that there has also been a geographical and preferential trend toward the SAT in Asia.

I dont think the SAT is flawed
