Unless you raise those scores significantly - that is, both the SATI and your two low SATIIs - your chances stand at around zero. I’m really not trying to be cruel here… just honest (I’m a Hebrew brotha myself so your best interest is mine  )

First, I suggest you wait for the RD round, for two reasons:

a) This will give you time to raise some of those scores.
Prep over the summer and retake the SATI in September. Retake the math and Lit in October, plus any other test you are SURE you can score 730+ on.

b)The EA applicant pool is significantly more competitive. In compared to them, you are (I’m sorry to say) considerably weaker. The RD round will give you a better shot.

On your application, I would suggest you focus on your evident passion for sports. Highlight all the acitivities that directly and indirectly (e.g. sports editor) into this field and write damn good essays that illustrate this passion and your personal character.

I do not know whether Yale has a hokey-team, but if it does - perhaps you could get recruited?

Finally, get good recommendation letters; these are probably the most over-looked tool in the admissions process.

I wish you all the best!
Behatzlacha! :)

P.S.
feel free to private-message me with any questions.

Yale has a division 1 program for hockey

Yale Hockey is Divison 1 and most players have a year or 2 of junior hockey under their belt after high school before entering, so you could contact the coach but it is doubtful you would be a recruit as soley a high school grad

Even as a recruit, you would probably have a tough time with those stats.

aww the people on these boards seem to be either totally sweet…or utterly vicious haha

Unlikely…

People are either delusional or realistic.
