<p>To the original question - I don’t think one or the other is a better test. They are different attempts to compare student test takers. All my kids did better on the ACT; the oldest 2 had ACT scores that would get them merit scholarships at certain schools while their SAT scores did not. They each only took the tests once though. Maybe repeat SAT sittings would have improved their scores, but they weren’t interested.</p>
