<p>I’m just going to put this out there because I think it’s kind of cool. The winner of that tv show “The Scholar” is coming to Pomona for college. From what I’ve seen of the show (which isn’t much, I’ll admit), she seems like a very smart, genuinely nice person. I think we were lucky to get her.</p>
<p>so, back in december i drove my friend to atlanta for an interview with abc’s the scholar. she didn’t get in, but she informed me tonight that the winner is coming to pomona! crazy!</p>
<p>i never watched the show, but i remember that amari girl from my diversity weekend thing at pomona. weird, 2 people out of the 10 were pomona acceptees. (i think amari went to gnatcire’s hs, but maybe im just confused), i guess she’s going to columbia or something… i really didnt like her, so i guess thats a good thing?</p>
<p>Haha she seemed nice. I haven’t seen any episode but tonight’s, but what isn’t likeable about her?</p>
<p>she wouldnt stop talking, and at one point because my host was friends with her host, we had to walk over to pitzer or hmc to find her because apparently she decided to go party hopping with other prospies or something. she talked sooooo much, seriously, what the heck.</p>

<p>Yep, Amari went to my high school. She came with Melissa to MSAP weekend and I met Melissa briefly as well, although I didn’t know at the time that she was on the show with her.</p>
<p>Amari is a great, intelligent person! We would have been lucky to have her come too, but I was never really expecting it.</p>
<p>melissa was at msap too? hmm…im usually really good with remembering faces…</p>
<p>yeah, she prospied with someone on my hall.</p>
