<p>I think the only reason we take the map test for is so the school can receive funding that is in correlation to the academic success on the map test. I’ve e-mailed college admission officers about it, and they said that they don’t bother with it at all. I scored 5’s on both test I took last year, and from the way it seems is that colleges won’t even look at it. I don’t really think it makes the school appear better/worse, because it’s not nationally recognized. So even if you get 2’s on the test, you can still go to Harvard.</p>

I am from Missouri too…since your school is in the top 10 it might show on the school profile, but I doubt that it will affect college admission decision in any way.
Personally, I despise MAP tests.</p>
